Psalm 98:1 says, "Sing to the LORD a new song, for he has done marvellous things."

Our music exists to bring glory to God through a fusion of sincere devotion and creative expression. One of our key focuses is writing ‘new songs’ to be sung to the Lord. Please take some time to have a listen. We’ve grouped our original songs into two categories, Scripture Songs and Vertical Songs. Here you wlll find a cross section of what we sing at our Sunday services.  

Scripture Songs

"Pay attention and listen to the sayings of the wise. Apply your heart to what I teach, for it is pleasing when you keep them in your heart and have all of them ready on your lips."

There is tremendous value in committing Biblical wisdom to heart. The problem is, memorization is just plain hard to do! Some people try, but give up before long because it’s too difficult. Our goal is to make memorization both enjoyable and effective.

Studies (and experience) show that melodies are very easy to memorize, and that lyrics attached to melody will stick with us a lot longer than words memorized on their own. With that in mind, we’ve composed these melodies with lyrics taken word-for-word from the Bible (New International Version). We hope this blesses and equips you in your spiritual life. Check back with us occasionally as we continue to build our library of songs.

Vertical Songs

"Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises."
Psalm 47:6

By ‘vertical’, we are emphasizing that these are songs we lift upward to God. These songs are intended for the corporate worship setting, as well as for personal devotions. Unlike our scripture songs, which quote the Bible directly, these songs allude to scripture, and represent our heartfelt response to what we find in God’s Word.
